“…the always sensational Yount gets a pair of songs usually reserved for men. In “Jacky,” she’s a young woman not yet grown up and still unsure about the future (“If I could be for just one little hour, cute, cute, cute in a stupid-ass way.”) “Fanette” has Yount recalling a lesbian love affair in a striking performance backed only by Yuichiro “Kevin” Asami on acoustic guitar. Yount’s tour de force number is “You’re Not Alone,” an ironic title since her character appears to be just that.”
